The views that kissed my soul . . . .

Myself & my brother, Ken

Thank you Maui for being so kind and so beautiful. I very much look forward to my return so I can further explore this spectacular island. I am finally back on the mainland after hours and hours of travel, but I couldn't leave Maui without one last hurrah. My brother & I took a helicopter tour of Maui & Molokai before we caught our flights. This 65 minute tour was SPECTACULAR! It was definitely the highlight of my trip. Our pilot, Jeannette, had 27 years of flying experience and did a fantastic job as she flew us into the creavasse's of the mountains, and along shorelines. We explored the remote valley and waterfalls of the West Maui Mountains, some of which are only accessible via helicopter. The views were absolutely stunning! We then crossed the Pailolo Channel to see the magnificent sea cliffs, valleys and waterfalls on Molokai's isolated north shore. The north coast of Molokai features the tallest sea cliffs in the world that rise thousands of feet above the Pacific Ocean. What an incredible adventure! (Click photo's for larger image.)

I had the best seat!....next to our pilot!

"Never lose an opportunity of seeing anything that is beautiful; for beauty is God's handwriting - a wayside sacrament.  Welcome it in every fair face, in every fair sky, in every fair flower, and thank God for it as a cup of blessing."
